My name is Chris and I'm just another Swiftie who loves everything Taylor Swift! Taylor makes me smile everyday and she and her music has been an invaluable help and companion as I work through challenges in life. Someday I hope I can give her a hug to thank her for all the times she and her music has cheered me up when I was feeling down, kept me company when I was feeling alone, kept me going when I wanted to give up, and just given me heart where others had taken it away.
Some of my favorite artists after Taylor are Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Gloriana, Demi Lovato, Colbie Caillat, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Kate Voegele (from One Tree Hill!)…at least that's according to my top 50 most played songs list on iTunes. I like a lot of other artists too, a lot of country artists - I am always tuned in to country radio when I'm in the car - and some rock music.
Away from TC, I can often be found somewhere outside with my camera. I love taking photos of a little bit of everything but mostly birds and butterflies. I am known as somewhat of a walking encyclopedia of everything bird and butterfly and have also been involved with different research and conversation projects for birds and butterflies like keeping nest boxes for owls and helping track rare butterfly populations. I have also been known to watch a bit too much TV just like Taylor :) My favorite shows are The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Switched at Birth, Pretty Little Liars and a Canadian series called Heartland. I also love watching documentaries like the BBC Earth series.
I haven't seen Taylor live yet. I was supposed to at the Capital Hoedown in Canada in August 2012, but that fell through and now I'm hoping to catch her on her next tour :)

My release week was probably the same as most people. I got up on Monday and I went straight out to the store to get Red. I started with Walmart first to get the Red Zinepak and from there I went to HMV to get the Red deluxe edition and some other new release CDs. HMV was giving away free mini posters with Red which was an awesome bonus! I was also really wanted to go to Walgreens...

I stream everything online so even if Sweden is so much behind in everything really, I'm just a few hours behind the US. but two screens would be amazing, I'm falling behind now when I have so much to do in school. I'm graduating january 19th and all the teachers is just pushing more and more work to do now xD I have to be out in the field (field-work) for a month and they decided that during christmas and new years would be perfect for that. and yeah. I'm quite upset about that. haha. But I have an interview for a job on thursday so I'll try to focus on that and not on murdering my teachers xD
I haven't heard their CD yet actually. It's not yet released in Sweden and I forgot to order it ;/ I've been listening to RED on repeat though, so I guess I wouldn't have listen to it even if I had bought it. But I really want it so I'll buy it sometime.. do you like it? is it worth buying? I'm going to London in 2 weeks and they sell CDs and DVDs for half the price there than Sweden, so I'm trying to find it there :D
I like so many of the songs on Red. All To Well, The Moment I Knew, Come Back... Be Here, I Almost Do, The Last Time is my favorites. I'm not like I like only slow songs, but I like songs that seems to be coming from the heart and being brutally honest, and feeling very emotional. and I'm not a big fan of overproduced songs like WANEGBT and 22. how about you?
yeah same for me! I'm thnking of going to Nashville for a show or two - if I get tickets for it! I have the money and the time off work, but finding someone to travel across the world with me to Nashville is hard to find! I hope you find someone!
