Roller Coaster Job Hunt

So I've been on this job hunt, and am finding the experience to be a real emotional roller coaster. Some days I feel so down about the lack of openings in my field (librarian and archivist) where I live, but then some days some little thing will pick me up and make me feel like everything's great. Like today, I was frustrated that I couldn't get onto the Internet for a while to work on a job application I started a couple of days ago. Then after a while, my Internet connection came back up and a colleague/friend emailed me to say that a couple of people on a committee she belongs to work at a place where I've applied for a part-time job, and that she recommended me to them. That was just so nice of her to do without my asking that it brightened my whole day! Then another colleague/friend who I've not heard from in ages sent me a couple of job postings and a recommendation for a job search engine that has helped her. I went to the search engine and found about five postings that look promising. I ended my day almost feeling happy that I'm unemployed because it's allowed me to see anew who my true friends are. I guess adversity does that, right?

    Hey Diane!!
I hope that you get off this roller coaster real soon!! It is hard being out of work. I know!! Of course, you have a brighter outlook on life than I ever will, so I am sure that you will make "Lemonade", from the lemons that have been given to you in this time of challenge!!
    God Bless You, Diane!!
    You are a Special Person!! : )
