Taylor Swift

For the new year, I decided to change my avatar again. This one's of my Birthday Prince when he turned 1. :) I hope that you like it.

I'm the married mom of an adorable toddler boy, and step-mom to two young adults (a young man and a young woman). I discovered how great Taylor Swift is a little over a year ago. (I was too busy getting married, settling into our home, and having our baby to listen much to the radio while Taylor was being discovered by the world!) I really appreciate most that she is such a giving soul, and that we all as a consequence benefit from her talents.

My best TC friend just added a bit to her profile about her birth family, which I thought was neat, so I'll do the same. I'm the youngest of four. I have three older brothers, so I was definitely a welcome surprise when I came along! My mother used to tell me that my parents were just sure that they were going to have another boy, and had even started to buy things for a baby boy. Then, surprise! :)

Me and my three siblings are spread out now geographically. I live in the Chicago area, I have one brother in New Orleans, one brother in northern Arizona, and one brother in Seattle. My brothers are: a social worker, a statistician, and a nurse. My brother who is the nurse actually now works as an administrator for the nurses at the hospital where he is employed, and he runs their training program for the nurses for their medical records system. Professionally, I work as an archivist and a librarian, though I have been unemployed now since getting laid off from my last job in late July of 2012.

Mom passed away unexpectedly nine years ago from a quick pneumonia. My dad is still alive, though, and lives in Washington State. He just remarried one of his high school classmates that he reconnected with at a high school class reunion last year. She told him that she had a crush on him when they were in school. :) I also have a 96 year-old grandmother who is amazing! I hope to be as sharp mentally, and have as great of an attitude as she does when I'm her age!
