Taylor Swift

Today I found out that my school is re-doing our football field. This is both good and bad news for our school. It is good because we need a knew field very badly. Right now everyone knows our field as the dirt/mud field. However, if they continue with this for over the summer, no one can use the field for a YEAR. The sport teams have no problem with this because they can schedule all their games for away. On the other hand, Marching Band (that's me) has no field to practice on. Over the summer we learn our show for our competitions(six this year) on the field with a week or more of "band camp". This is all day long and then after school starts we have practice 2-3 times a week for 3 hours on the field. So basically, we have no where to practice. Hopefully there is a place in this world for us to learn our show and drills. Maybe we could use another school's field in our district for practice. (And yes my school is one of five in the district) Only time will tell though.
