Taylor Swift

Last night was a Relay For Life event at my cousins high school. It was so amazing and so much fun. My aunt lost her battle with cancer around 3 and a half years ago. Each year from then we have donated money and supported the society in memory of my aunt. This year we bought ten luminary bags and decorated them with things my aunt loved. When it got dark out, they lit the candles in the bags, which were placed around the inside of the track. People walked around the track for hours. They included survivors, caregivers, and families of those fighting and remembering. My whole family went and walked around the track learning about others stories. All the girls in the family got airbrush tattoos in my aunts favorite colors, pink and purple. I chose the fairy sitting down dropping stars. It reminded me of Taylor Swift's songs and how she always reminds us to stay strong. I know that is what my aunt wants my family to do, stay strong and continue on with life.
