Someone asked me today to pick my top three Taylor Swift songs.. This was actually easy for me.
1. Picture to Burn
2. Mean
3. Should've Said No
They asked me why these songs.. Well, that's a long explanation..
The reason why Picture to Burn is up there is because I fell in love with a Redneck who drives a red pickup truck and he made me think that we were going to date but no.. he started dating his ex.. he actually did go tell all of his friends that I was obsesive and crazy. I decided that I wasn't going to sit around and cry my heart out over some jerk.. He really is a bad liar, he told me his mom didn't like me and that's why we couldn't date (he was 18 at the time..) but his mom and dad loved me... Every word in that song is what I would say to him and it got so bad between us that I had to block him from every social network I use...
Mean is up there because I was bullied in school. I was the outcast. I hung out with the kids nobody else wanted to because they were the outcast. I was bullied from first grade to seventh grade and then I started homeschooling because I was tired of being treated like that. I was ten years old fighting depression because of bullies and I dislike anyone who bullies! It's not right, it's not fair and it hurts. When I walked away from the people who bullied me I told them "One day I will be everything you want to be." Now the people who bullied me are having a rough life.. and I am having a very wonderful life. Payback hurts and the best thing about it is I didn't have to stoop to thier level to get my payback. :)
Should've said No is up there because I had a boyfriend go behind my back and cheat on me and I found out over Facebook.. When I broke up with him he kept begging me to get back together with him and I wouldn't. If he would cheat on me once he would cheat on me twice.. He used to send me flowers and we had a song and everything we were the "cutest couple" and "so in love" Yeah right.. but that song goes out to him and he said everytime he hears a Taylor Swift song he thinks of me.. Well, if you still wanted be with me you would've said no...
And everyone of these songs has really helped me forgive the people that have hurt me and broke my heart and I hope that Taylor has helped you through stuff like she has helped me :)
