Susie Grundy

Hey. My name is originally called Susan, but I prefer and am always called by the name Susie and other nicknames. Some call me walking stick or palm tree. I am currently 14 years old and almost turning 15 which I'm really excited about because Taylor's song "Fifteen" will be with me at the end of my freshmen year. (: Of course, I'm obsessed with Taylor Swift. I pretty much live, love and dream her everyday and I will continue to adore her for the rest of my life no matter what people say about it. I'm so excited for her next album as I've always have been!!!You can probably guess that my appearance would be skinny and tall, if so you’re completely right. I always try to picture myself as a fat person, but it never does seem to occur in other people’s perspectives. I am a halfie – Australian and Cambodian and I’m very proud to be one. Australia is just so peaceful and calm that I can picture myself being immature and playing on the playgrounds or buying myself a pet koala and devouring on chips with gravy or even munching on chocolate frogs. I love living in my home state; Alice Springs. Even though it isn’t considered popular or special in any way, I do. I can still remember my childhood memories, where I would just sit watching my mom plant seeds of fruits and vegetables I love. Where I would wake up every morning to hear the roosters sing and I would walk to the barn to pick a few eggs for breakfast meals. I was very clumsy when I was young; always dropping things with a series of my mom’s screams and shouts. I was also very selfish and stubborn. I would never listen to my mom’s orders about climbing up trees to eat off all of the tangerines or plums. I always did that and I probably still would. I am a very greedy person when it comes to food. I have adapted to Cambodian cuisine, which is probably one of the reasons why I’m proud to be Asian. I love the soups my mom makes at home and any Italian related dishes, preferably spaghetti, especially because it has cheese in it. Cheese is one thing I cannot live without. Cambodia, the kingdom of wonder…I have lived here for about 10 years already and I do not REALLY consider it a country to wonder about but it is definitely worth living here. There are a lot of really nice people and the weather is very reliable. Everything is cheap here and you can bargain for pretty much anything. I have the height of 1.73 meters and a weight of 43 kg. Yes, I need to gain weight and I’m definitely working on that. It would seem pretty easy since I have a huge appetite.

I am a very lazy person but I over-do and over-think and over-plan and over-organize and that's just me. I have high expectations of myself no matter what. I like really bright colors and purple. The bright yellow sun really captivates my sight. Even though I might be allergic to anything yellow, both sunshine and pineapple, I could use some light to shade the darkness within and without me. The bright clear blue waters on the ocean really calm and relax me down when I'm feeling anything overwhelming. The bright orange sunflowers really make me become energized and happy. I just like the color purple mostly because it contrasts well with anything. I also really like things that are cute and one of a kind. Even though I am 14 years old and I am a teenager, I still talk silently and comfort my sheep and kangaroo stuffed toys and I still wear little cute bows and ribbons that make me look like a 4 year old. I love feathers and glitter and hearts and stars, anything girlie. However, I absolutely hate wearing dresses and short skirts. I like my fashion even though it might seem too original; jeans and a blouse, nothing much. I like putting my hair sideways or braiding my hair, it brings me back to my childhood years all over again. There is nothing more in my possession than my glitter pen, my journal and my guitar by my side. I need these things at all times when there's a craving of things that I'm trying to say to be put into a song. I love people who praise my talent and comment or like a video of mine.

The first thing I have to bring out is that I love my family and my friends. They have always been there to support me. No matter whatever reason, wherever place or whenever the situation, they will always be there to tell me a story or joke and buy me something to munch on, to relieve the boredom. Yes, I do get bored really easily. And chocolate ice cream, a stuffed toy or something Taylor Swift related would definitely excrete that from my system. It is true that Taylor Swift is within my heart and always will be. She is an amazing role model to anyone. Her descriptive songwriting about her lifelong experiences has definitely reached out to me and many others. She is probably the reason why I fell in love with music in the first place. She brings me in to a world full of meaningful words and a flow of sounds drumming in my ears creating faint pictures. That is what I call reality.

From what you’ve read so far, it would seem obvious that I’m a very serious but not serious person. I have to say I agree with you. People in school consider me as a geek or in other words, a nerd. Everyone is different, and I’m aware it’s good to be different right? That must be a Leo or Virgo thing. My birthday is on August 21st , on the edge of Leo. Therefore, II consider myself both a Leo and a Virgo. I guess I’m pretty lucky. It would seem rather logical that my lucky number is 21, but it is not. It is the number backwards, 12. I love this number. From what I can remember, the first lucky number II discovered was number 10. I was looking for that jersey for the upcoming Volleyball game, but it wasn’t there. I thought that was pretty strange, so I had to choose a random number that popped into my head. Then again, came the number 13, Taylor Swift’s lucky number. I wanted some number very much close to that. So, here I am with 12 as my lucky number. It always brings something happy into my life, even on a Tuesday. For me, Tuesday’s are cursed. I can never seem to escape anything bad on this day. Bad results in school, a sore tummy, internet breakdown, no food at home, etc. You probably can tell where I’m going. In school, I turn out to be very serious but when I’m hanging out with the people I am close to or when I’m on the weekends at home, I am not at all. I can be very hyper and outgoing.

I’m the type of person with a lot of mood swings; those are happy and sad. When I’m happy, I jump around and walk to and fro from the front to the back of my room walls thinking back to those memories and laughing to myself. When I’m happy, I sing and dance to party music, those of Flo Rida’s and David Guetta’s, especially. When I’m happy, I take pictures of myself with my self-made pendant necklace, guitar and hair spread out over my shoulders with my lucky number with a heart around it on the palm of my hand. When I’m happy I go sightseeing for sunflowers, shooting stars, ocean tides, sparrows, butterflies and dolphins (if I ever get the chance to). When I’m happy, I try to find things to add to my collection. I keep collections of things I love anywhere around my room. Things like; ray band sunglasses, braided bracelets, feather necklaces, perfume, my top 12 books, top 12 cd albums I constantly listen to, stuffed toys, etc. When I’m happy, I watch a TV series, preferably Glee while having snacks by my side, usually chips, popcorn or noodles. When I’m happy, I pick up one of my favorite books and open it to a random page and read it all over again. When I’m happy, I make pancakes with my sister and brother, a habit we can never stop doing. When I’m happy I go onto the internet and revisit Facebook or some online shopping website. When I’m happy, I picture an invisible fan of mine coming up to me and me with my glitter pen signing my autograph – another thing I can never stop picturing. There is always a constant shift between being happy to sad for me. When I’m sad, I go with my friends to get cones and cones of ice cream to make us feel happy again. When I’m sad, I listen to sad music which I don’t know why I do it myself, but it just happens.. When I’m sad, I watch funny movies like Grown Ups or Paul to cheer me up. When I’m sad, I sit in the corner with my pet kangaroo talking to it, imagining that was the cause. When I’m sad, I go up to my balcony and run laps trying to release the pain. When I’m sad, I go to notes on my IPhone and write everything that I’m feeling. When I’m sad, I look back at pictures of the good memories and try to relive those moments. When I’m sad, I jump on my trampoline and look far off into the distance.

Besides being a singer, I really would like to pursue acting. I always picture myself on Glee or Hunger Games or Harry Potter or Twilight, any of those teen favorites. It looks very, uh, exciting? I guess everyone my age would say that even though they have never experienced it before. But that’s who we are and we can’t stop from being ourselves, can we? The people closest to me and myself find it really surprising that I want to become a celebrity. I have known myself to be a very shy and independent person. Therefore, reaching for something that extreme is difficult. But this is what I love to do and nothing can stop me from achieving it. I would also love to be a writer which you can probably depict from my lengthy passage II have written so far. I find it really interesting and fun to be living in a world where you only think of words and plot lines and character personalities and turning points and resolutions and so on. It is like you are living in a fairy tale or fantasy, something non realistic. I feel like besides being realistic in music, I can be unrealistic in my writing. Of course, life is very unpredictable and unexpected. I love eating therefore I love cooking – I would also like to be a chief. If I were to say this to anyone in my family, they would seriously burst out laughing and go “no, no, no,”. That would be me – I am probably the worst cook in my family. Some of the basic stuff, I still cannot do at this age. For example, turning on the stove or boiling an egg. But I am definitely improving; I have started to enter the kitchen much more frequently these days and I’ve been really proud of myself lately.

The one thing I have always loved and will always love is MUSIC. It is my life and it is the reason I exist as a person. I have changed so much since the time I listened to the first song. The stories that music tells is very intriguing and fascinating that it pulls everyone. Music is a part of my soul and it captures every part of me. Right now, I am working on an album. I am in the process of writing and I am enjoying it so much so far even though I know it is going to be a long process. Throughout the years, I have learned to near give up and keep achieving my dreams. To never say never to anything. Anything is possible, but it takes guts and drives and for this and I believe I have that. A lot of people in the music industry have definitely inspired my desire for becoming a singer; Taylor, Adele, Bruno, Justin, and many more. They are just so amazing that I don’t have a better word to describe them. I love them so much. My family and friends have also really inspired me, more particularly in me opening up and expressing my HIDDEN talent, or that's what they call it. No one in school or at home ever imagined me having a love for music, all they knew was that I was very intelligent and that was my talent, nothing else. So, when they found videos of me singing on the internet, they kind of freaked out and told me that I was a good singer and that I should definitely chase my dreams! After I heard that from even my close friends, I knew straight away that I had to continue striving for what I wanted. That must also be a Leo or Virgo thing.

One last final thing, I love people who love Taylor Swift. Any SWIFTIES out there, YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!! Thank you for being on my side in terms of letting me talk and discuss about Taylor and her music and how much I love her. Thank you for letting me do that. Nobody else in my life has ever appreciated my love for Taylor Swift as much as you guys do. So thank you for being nice and sharing that love with me. :)

OMG! Wow, this is really long and if you spent your time reading this 6 minute biography, that might've been boring and meaningless...THANK YOU. I very much appreciate it. I love you like I love sunflowers and shooting stars and butterflies and TAYLOR SWIFT. And I hope you keep in mind one thing...

LIVE YOUR DREAMS!

P.S.:Thanks for being my friend. I really really really adore you. (:

A Swiftie, forever and always xoxo

Hey there Swiftie! So as you may have seen on the forums or in my blogs, I'm writing to you today to personally invite you to join me in a fun little project that is already well under way.
??To make a long story short (and if you want the long, detailed version you can check out the official project page in my blogs): We, meaning myself and hundreds of Swifties from Taylor Connect are currently in the process of making Official Unofficial Lyric Video for the song "Red". Why, you might ask? To both celebrate the dawn of the Red era and to show the one and only Taylor Swift just what all of this means to us, the fans of course!! After everything she does for us, this will be our way of doing something back for her.
??Interested? Excited? Confused? Tired? Fighting an uncontrollable urge to scream out loud that you are, in fact, a little teapot (handle, spout and all!)? Well, first things first, the best way to understand what we're doing is to see the original inspiration for this project, courtesy of the folks behind the Broadway Musical "Title of Show"
    ??
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtdgvmYUuuA

??Now, take that idea and apply it to Red!! Already over 100 of the 294 words of the title song have been randomly distributed, and the creativity people have been bringing to the table has been beyond incredible. Now I would like to offer you your own chance to get in on the action. Just respond to this message expressing your interest, and you can be a part of this amazing opportunity to unite with your fellow Swifties as, with one voice, we celebrate the dawn of the Red era!! Let's give this album and the beautiful artist behind it the welcome they deserve!
