Taylor Swift

My name is Kate, and i'm an Irish Swifty. Living in Dublin, Ireland. I met Taylor, Scott Swift and Amos Heller on March 27th 2011. I am unconditionally in love with Grant Mickelson. I kinda think he's really great. I'm a firm believer in love. I just think love is tricky. I've been hurt before. Led on and let down, and completely heart broken. But i think one day i'll find somebody really great. Who's right for me. I think Taylor's music has helped me through a lot, and i'm so unbelievably stoked for her next record.

I'm the kind of Swifty who gets obsessed with anything Taylor related. Like, when the use by date on my yoghurt is the 13th of that month i freak out. Or, when i see a car registration plate that has "TS," written on it i think of Taylor (In Ireland TS stands for Tipperary South) Anything glittery i associate with Taylor. And any cat sweater I see, I buy.

Nobody understands why I love Taylor so much. But i think only Swifties can understand how much she means. Taylor's music has been there for me when no one else has. On a car ride home from the best night of my life, after meeting and falling for the most perfect guy imaginable, who i dated for a few months. When i was mad at him. When i knew i was losing him. When i lost him. When i was crying on the bathroom floor, hating myself for letting him go. In those kind of situations you call on your friends. But they would have been patronising, "You're better without him," "You're too good for him." My friends haven't experienced the pain that I've been through. And as much as I love them, they just don't understand. But with Taylor's music, I feel less alone, because somebody else has been through the exact same thing. And it makes me feel like everything will be ok. Because she got through it. And that must mean I can too.
