Taylor Swift

So, I graduated college in May of 2011. Life since then has been pretty depressing. People tend to gloss over that fact of life until it's staring you right in the face. So for anyone who's curious, THE YEAR AFTER COLLEGE IS SUPER DEPRESSING!

Glad we got that cleared up.

So in this last year, I started listening to Taylor Swift. The only song of hers I knew was "You Belong With Me", and I gotta be honest... I only started listening to her because I had a Ke$ha song stuck in my head. After three days of "Take It Off" playing mentally on repeat, I decided to try to find something equally catchy and far less annoying. So I started listening to "You Belong With Me" until I actually knew more of the words than just the chorus.

And lo, a few short months later I was obsessed with Taylor Swift. Her music is awesome, and she is awesome. I listen to her music when I am depressed, I listen to it when I am happy, and I listen to it when I don't know what else to do with my time. I even have her songs sorted on my computer by the mood I'm in when I listen to them, rather than by album on which they were released.
