About me:
Hey, I'm a girl named Fran and I'm 22 years old. I live in Germany, a nice country in central Europe where country music unfortunately isn't popular. At all. I'm still beyond excited about the fact, that I'm going to Nashville with my friend Gemma this summer! It's a dream coming true!
Spring / Summer 2009 - I fell in love with Taylors Music.
11/10/2012 - Grant Mickelson replied to a picture of me and some friends on Twitter.
11/11/2012 - Europe Music Awards 2012 (Frankfurt / Germany). Front Row. Taylor performed WANEGBT.
11/11/2012 - Grant waved at me and uploaded a picture of the EMA crowd.
12/15/2012 - MET TAYLOR AND GRANT!!!
09/19/2013 - Red Tour Nashville (Pit Tickets) First Night
09/20/2013 - Red Tour Nashville Second Night
09/21/2013 - Red Tour Nashville Third Night
First of all I'm gonna tell you about a day I'll never forget. I'm still excited to talk about this day even though it all happend more than 6 months ago :)
The day I met Taylor (and Grant)!!! Still can't believe it!

I'll be eternally grateful that I got to meet Taylor in 2012. She was in Germany to promote RED and to perform at a TV show. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to get tickets for that show as it's pretty popular and Taylors performance was only announced one week in advance. By that time the tickets were already sold out and not avaible on ebay, either. I decided to drive to Cologne (a 5 hour drive) anyway. I never thought I'd actually meet Taylor but I wanted to give it a try at least and some of my friends went there as well. Our plan was to wait in front of the TV Studio because she had to get in and out at some point. There were about 25 people (including me and my friends) waiting for Taylor. At first I thought that maybe we went to the wrong studio because come on, 25 people?! I mean, it's Taylor Swift we're talking about! We waited anyway. Then suddenly Taylor (and some Bodyguards) came out! She smiled and waved at us! She seemed to be really happy that we wanted to see her even though there weren't many of us. She talked to us, signed stuff, took pictures and we sang "Stay Stay Stay" for her. Her Bodyguards allowed her to spend about 15 to 20 minutes with us which is a pretty long time I think. I didn't really talk to her because I was so nervous and all the others wanted to meet her as well. I asked her if she wanted to take a pictures with me and she was like "Yeeeah, sure" in a very sweet way. I told her I loved her and she said "Aaaaaww thank you" in an even sweeter way. Even though I didn't really talk to her it was a perfect moment. She knows that I exist and the she and her music mean everything to me! That's all that matters.
Later that day after my friends went home but I went back to the TV studio because I didn't have anything better to do. As I live pretty far away from Cologne I stayed the night because I didn't want to drive back home the same day. It was freezing and I didn't really expect to meet Taylor (again) / her mum / her band because the weather was horrible and the show was about to start. Only 10 people were waiting outside when suddenly Taylor's Guitar player Grant came out. I talked to him for a while and took a picture with him. He is a really nice guy and I was really happy that I met him. After the performance I saw Taylors car drive by and her band and background singers getting into their cars. Even though they weren't allowed to get out it was pretty cool. Paul's car had to stop right next to our little group for a few minutes. The windows were rolled down so we started to sing. He smiled at us and it was great :)
If you're still not bored reading all this stuff, you're awesome! Thank you :)
How I became a Swiftie:
I was bored so I looked up some songs on Youtube and coincidentally came across a Video of Taylor. I believe it was Love Story but I'm not completely sure. Country Music is not popular at all where I live and it's never played on the Radio or TV. So naturally I've never heard of this girl named Taylor Swift. I listened to some of her songs and decided to like them but wasn't interessted in who Taylor was or where she's from. I listened to some songs a few more times since then but I never downloaded them. A few months later I watched the Hannah Montana Movie (I liked Miley back then) and there was Taylor, singing "Crazier". I was like "Hey, that's the girl from Youtube. What an amazing song!". That's when I bought Fearless (and later her debut album) and was addicted. I listened to her music all the time and wanted to find out everything there is to know about Taylor :) Taylor and her music mean everything to me. No matter what mood I'm in, listening to her Music, watching a funny Taylor Video or an interview on Youtube always helps me. I also met some amazing new friends because of her!
