Hi Everyone!
My name's Mel and I'm completely changing my bio (this thing) because I've become a completely different person since I wrote the last one. Well, not completely different, but I feel this should be updated.
A month ago, I came out of 4 months of darkness. I wasn't in a good mind-set for a very long time. Major self-esteem issues caused by... something I'd rather not say because it's in the past and I've moved on. I'm way happier now and in such a good mood all the time, it's fantastic!
2013 has been a major year for me, thus far! I dyed my hair for the first time, I'm growing out my fringe, my style has changed, I got singing lessons, I've learnt a lot, I've had my first kiss, my first boyfriend, it's been a crazy-ass year and it's only May!
It's funny because everything that happened to Taylor when she was 15, has happened to me when I'm 14. It's real funny! The most relatable lyric from 'Fifteen' is: 'Cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you
You're gonna believe them
When you're fifteen and your first kiss
Makes your head spin 'round
But in your life you'll do things greater than
Dating the boy on the football team
But I didn't know it at fifteen
These are the most relatable because I've been told by someone that they love me, I've had my first kiss and I'm dating the guy on the football team.
Life's amazing at the moment! And I've just started writing songs again, I had nothing to write about for a while and finally my feelings have words and I can write them into songs and it's really fantastic.
