Hello there Swifties!

How are you? I hope you're all well and having a good day ^_^



I guess since you stumbled upon my profile you must think I'm slightly interesting or something like that? Or maybe you're just lost… Either way you're here, and you're gonna know a lot about me if you stick around to read my epically long profile!







My name is Gemma… Most call me Gem... Quite a lot call me 'Gemalem'... Few (i.e. my siblings) call me things like Jimbo and Jimbob,

I'm 24 years young but apparently I still look 18.

I come from a city in the UK called Liverpool. Apparently we're the "World Capital of Pop Music". Pretty cool huh? Thats what we get for producing The Beatles! I don't think Taylor likes Liverpool because she's never been here for a concert :(

I work 2 jobs, both of which are less than part time but I enjoy them too much to get a 'proper' job! I'm a Matchday Steward at Liverpool Football Club (COME ON THE REDS!) and i'm an Event Steward /Security Officer at Liverpool Echo Arena.

I have a cat. His name is Taylor! Yes I know the cat is a 'He' yet we named it after a 'She' but when we first got him we were told he was a Female and didn't question it but 2 months later we found out 'She' was a 'He'! Good job Taylor is both a boy and girls name ;D Fun Fact: His middle name is Ed after Ed Sheeran :)

I'm not your average 23 year old girl; I don't drink alcohol at all , I don't go to clubs unless it's for a gig, and I don't smoke. My idea of a good time is going to Nandos for a bite to eat and then paying £20 for a Gallery seat at the cinema so I get free refills on my drinks, nachos and popcorn. Either that, or go to see some local bands play at random gig venues around the city.



I can play a few musical instruments, but not to a high standard! Enough to get me through a 2 year Music Technology and Performance course in college :P I play Keyboard/PIano, Violin, Bass, Guitar, Drums and i'm trying to teach myself Ukulele. I have 2 keyboards, an acoustic guitar (which is a children's one) called Sebastian, an electric guitar called Phoenix and a ukulele named Orlando. The Ukulele is named after the lead singer of The Maccabees because I was given it in work (when i worked at a small concert venue) as a gift from my co-worker and The Maccabees happened to be playing that evening… The lead singer Orlando was the first person to play it and was teaching me how to play Toothpaste Kisses on it before the show :) I also had a violin called Ruby that was given to me by my local council when I won a music award but I gave it to my 8 year old niece so she can learn on it.






I am a big music fan. I like so many different genres you'd be surprised looking at my ipod. I've seen so many hundreds and thousands of bands live, seriously. This is my collection of tickets I didn't lose during the gig because they fell out of my pocket…



My most seen band is definitely my favourite Indie band called The Wombats! I've seen them over 30 times and have been a fan since basically the beginning.



I love Ed Sheeran. He is the ultimate ginger. Me and my friends call him 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Ginger' - don't ask why! My friend said it once and it kinda stuck! He is the most wonderful and beautiful man i've ever had the pleasure of seeing in concert. His lyrics are genius… and he's a cat lover! BONUS!



I'm also a fan of Tom Odell, Bastille, Athlete, Eugene McGuinness, Friendly Fires, Enter Shikari, Katy Perry, Joshua Radin, Owl City, The Killers, Lady Antemellum and hundreds more!



I'm a sucker for a rom-com or superhero movie.

Harry Potter, X-Men, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman, Hunger Games, Avengers Assemble, Easy A, The Help, The Hobbit, Lord Of The Rings, Pitch Perfect, Love Actually, Nowhere Boy



I'm not a big TV watcher. When I do these are what I tend to watch

Doctor Who, Merlin, Sherlock, The Inbetweeners, 2 Broke Girls, Waterloo Road, NCIS, The Big Bang Theory, Breaking Bad, The New Normal, Smallville.



I've only read 2 series of books; Harry Potter and Hunger Games!



I love Football! (or Soccer as some of you may call it!) I support Liverpool Football Club and Holland National Team. I flew out to Holland to see their national team take on Slovakia last year and it was amazing! People were surprised to hear an English girl who was a fan of Holland!

I knit and crochet.
I own A LOT of Nail Polish. Seriously. Over 130 different nail polish.
I have 4 nieces. The three eldest ones are Taylor fans thanks to me!
I tend to collect notebooks that look cute and never actually use them for anything.
I'm the most indecisive person you will ever meet
I'm the fussiest eater you will ever eat
I basically live on Spaghetti, Noodles, Chicken and Cheese Sandwiches.
I love a cup of good old english tea! Milk 2 sugars please ^_^
I love bird cages.
I love polka dots.
My favourite colour is either Red or Orange.
I get embarrassed really easily and blush a lot.
I can be quite paranoid and think that people are laughing at me when i'm on my own in public.
I hate how I look and wish I could lose weight :(

I adore Taylor so much! She's such an inspiration to me :) I know everybody on here says the same thing, but she really is! She's an absolutely beautiful girl both inside and out, so down to earth and wonderful :) I'd probably take a bullet for her, that's how much she means to me! Sounds crazy but I don't know what I'd do without her or her wonderful music. Taylor makes me fearless. Her music gets me through everything and never fails to make me feel happy even when I'm feeling so sad that even my friends can't cheer me up.

Taylor has even inspired me with her fashion sense too :) She has such great taste in clothes! I can't try all of her styles (the high wasted shorts are a no-no when you're as chubby as I am!) but I try some of them :)

My friends say I have certain qualities that remind them of Taylor, what these qualities are I have no idea...

As you've read I've never had the pleasure of meeting Taylor and actually knowing it was Taylor but I worry that if I do (by some miracle) meet her I'd just breakdown and cry, hug her to death, and constantly (in the words of ABBA) thank her for the music!!!

I met her Mum & Dad briefly in Manchester in 2011 and had to restrain myself from hugging them and saying "THANK YOU FOR BRINGING TAYLOR INTO THE WORLD!" :') (Yes I really do say silly things like that…)
