Taylor Connect

I am a dreamer living in reality. I watch entirely to much TV for my own good and I've seen almost every movie there is. I spend most of my time awake at the hospital nursing people back to health in the unit treating infectious diseases. Travel is like my second nature and I'm obsessed with Starbucks frappuchinos, M&Ms and headbands. I bake a lot, I hate cleaning, I love busses, I'm a huge soccer-fan, I sing in the shower (badly). I dance in the rain. I'm in love with dresses, oxford shoes, keds and sparkly things and I fell in love with country music because of Taylor. I live, breathe and dream about Taylor 24/7 and I'm a potterhead, a tribute and a Swiftie.

I'm a proud swiftie and support Taylor 24/7. I tweet about her, I blog about her and I travel the world for her using my savings to see her. She really is the most incredible person ever and I pray that one day I'll be able to tell her how much her music have helped me and made my dreams come true.

I help Andrea and Felicia update www.taylorswiftsweden.se from time to time. Swedens largest fanpage about Taylor. check it out if you want to, there even is a translate-button on there.. (google translate, so it doesn't translate everything correctly - you have been warned)

I'm also a big fan of Lady Antebellum, Harry Potter, the Hunger Games, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding and the local soccer-team ÖSK.

I've seen Taylor live a few times, but never in my own country. so I'm still praying for her to come to Sweden someday!

11.22.11 New York City, Speak Now Tour
19.9.13 Nashville, Red Tour (pit passes)
20.9.13 Nashville, Red Tour
21.9.13 Nashville, Red Tour
7.2.14 Berlin, Red World Tour (invited to front row by Andrea)

Other artists I've seen live:
- Bruce Springsteen, Wembley Stadium, London
- MUSE, Hovet Arena, Stockholm
- Lady Antebellum, Trädårn', Gothenburg (M&G!)
- Selena Gomez, Arenan, Stockholm
- Ellie Goulding, Arenan, Stockholm
- Ed Sheeran, O2, London (oct 15th 2014)
- Ed Sheeran, The Globe Arena, Stockhom (nov 12th 2014)

My country is very small and it's not that exciting. Population: 9 million (yeah! Taylor have more fans on twitter than people living in my country) and the thing Sweden have the most is forests, lakes and mountains. It can get really warm in the summer, but also extremely cold in the winter. Usually there are a lot of snow 5-6 months a year and I really do hate that since I hate snow. Sweden is supposed to be very beautiful and it really is - when it's not raining. If you, by some strange reason, want to visit Sweden or know more about my exciting country - please contact me and I'll tell you more.

I just got a new job and a really great one too. I'm now a nurse at the unit treating infectious diseases like pnemonia, blood poisoning and swine flu (among others). Our patients gets really sick and we work really close with the ICU (Intensal Care Unit). I've been so stressed out lately, being new at work is never fun but not knoing anyone, not knowing where anything is, diseases I'e never...

Sorry for MY late reply! I went on vacation earlier this month and I booked it very last minute. I haven't had much down time since I've been home either. Nice to know someone else is always on the go too! haha

That's awesome though. Don't dwell on it, everyone wishes they said something more after the fact!

I do work a lot of hours but over the last 2 or so months I've put in more of an effort to go out with friends. Even if it means staying out late just to sleep most of the day away on my days off.

That's so funny! Yeah I find people freak out over convertible sometimes. Was that your first experience in a convertible? It's funny you should say that though, I drive a 2001 mustang covertible. It's a really unique green colour that is super rare so it definitely sticks out. It's hard to describe the colour. If you want a picture let me know, it's a beautiful car!

Haha at least you didn't forget about me!

That's cool! Are you enjoying it or is it moreso for the experience?

That's incredible! Did you tell her how far you travelled?

I don't know how I do it. It's exhausting. Like I barely get to see my friends these days. Our lives sounds similar haha. I'm only home to sleep, besides that I'm usually working. My car is great. I was going to sell my other car but I ended up just keeping it. So now I have 2 vehicles! It's too hard to get rid of my summer cra because it's a convertible and it's a ton of fun to drive.

Well I'm glad you hadn't just forgotten about me :)

And I think a lot of people are coming on TC a lot less because of all the bugs like comments failing to post and getting logged out continuously - so I think long delays in people replying are becoming much more common anyway.

It was an amazing time, loved every second - and New York afterwards really lived up to it's hype as well. Loads of times walking around New York I just looked around and thought, "this is awesome". :)

This is my photo album for the Nashville gig if you fancy a quick browse

And my US trip even came in under budget, so I spent the surplus (plus a bit) on the a couple of days of the London concerts at the beginning of February :D Are you going to be able to make it to any of the European dates?

That's exciting! What kind of new job will you be starting?

Haha not only do you go when you're not feeling well but you travel across the world to see her! THAT is dedication :)

I'm hanging in there haha. Thank you for asking. I'm balancing a full time job and a part time job which sees me working usually 55-65 hours a week...so that's a little crazy. I don't have much of a social life these days anymore but luckily I've had some great moments in the last few months. I saw Taylor in Toronto with a Swiftie I had met on TC, got to see some family and friends I haven't sene in a while, made some new friends, and I recently purchased a brand new car which was an exciting experience. But for the most part my days consist of work and not much else. Haha not the most exciting life at the moment :P

    Cool! :)
What are my thoughts... well, I'm honestly disappointed. I can't believe that the concerts in London and Berlin are all we get. And I seriously don't understand why there has to be so many concerts in London and then other countries are totally left out. I just don't get this and I've been so frustrated with the fact that they just couldn't release all the dates at the same time, they just made us wait and hope for something that is not clearly happening. I'm not going to London or Berlin... I was so excited to go, I have been saving money for a long time and everything but I can't go, because I'm having my matriculation examination at the same time and I can't be out of those tests, because then I won't graduate you know :( I would have had a chance to go to the first London concert cause that's the only day of those when I'm not having an exam, but it's sold out already. If I knew that these are the only concerts we're getting I would have bought tickets to London's first concert right away. But now I missed it :( I was so sure that there will be concert in Sweden for example, but no. Btw, I was thinking the live chat thing Tay had when the whole RED theme was released and she said then that she will go to Sweden when she was asked about that. Why did she say that if she's not coming? :( I still love Taylor and her music but I think this is wrong. People have said that European Swifties seem to be second class fans and this makes it feel even more like that...

Yeah I saw you at the diet coke booth but I had the same problem as you, I was too shy to say hello :D And then my friends wanted to buy merch so I just went inside with them. What a shame :( I didn't know you were right behind us at the merchandise booth! :( I didn't really look around as I was so focused on finally getting all the stuff I've dreamed of :)
Aaaww thank you, that's really nice! :)

How was New York, did you have a good time? What places did you visit in Nashville?

I'm back from the US now :(

I did exactly what I said I might - I saw someone who I thought was you, but I just didn't have the nerve to say hello. You (or the person who I thought was you) walked past and I really really wanted to shout, "Emmy", to see if that provoked any kind of reaction - but I chickened out :D So, maybe next time.

I guess you're going to write something up when you get back and get online? I heard you were a bit ill :( Hope things pretty much turned out fine in the end - I'll wait until you get back and see how it went then :)
