Taylor Swift

After I received the twitter from Taylor Swift about emailing Ellen about attending her show I thought about it. I was tired of entering contests to win stuff because, lets admist it, I never win. So the next day I was like what the heck, lets just try it and I emailed Ellen. Two days later I checked my email and there it was!!! And behold, what a coincidence, I ended up seeing this email on October 13th. Yes, the 13th!!! Weird. Anyway, the email said I had just won two tickets to see Taylor Swift's outdoor concert on the Ellen Degeneres show. I was in shock. Was it for real? Right away I texted my friend if she wanted to go. First of all it is a 6 hour drive to L.A. and I was not about to drive by myself down there. Luckly she said yes. So I emailed back to confirm that I wanted to tickets. That's when it all came crumbling down. I received an email back saying that by now they only had standby tickets, whcih meant we could be turned down the day of the filming depending on crowd turnout. What a bummer, I knew it was to good to be true. So I told my friend about it. It was not an easy decision. Either we took the risk to drive 6 hours to L.A. even it we got turn down or not go at all. After a long time, we decided to take our chance and go. We left at 2am and arrived at the L.A. Zoo at 7:30am. The L.A. Zoo was going to be our arrival site and then they were going to shuttle us to Warner Brothers Studios. We waited in line for 8 hours. It was horrible. We were hungry, thirsty, sleepy, and sitting on the ground. But it was all worth it and I would wait again because we got in!!!!! They brought about 19 buses for us. I got to see Taylor Swift really close, the closest EVER! Just a few feet away. And not only Taylor Swift, but Ellen Degeneres as well! The concert was on October 18th and was aired October 25th, a few days after the RED realease. We got an early concert from Taylor Swift and the RED album was not even out yet. How incredible is that!!
