Have you ever seen the film "Easy A"? Silly question really, if you have, you know exactly why I have "Pocket Full of Sunshine" in my head. If you haven't seen Easy A, I recommend it. I liked it more than I thought I would, there are so many cliche High School comedy dramas in the cinemas nowadays but this one really entertained me.
Anyways, I've never actually heard the song "Pocket Full of Sunshine" properly, only in the following formats;
1. From a novelty card
2. From the voice of actress Emma Stone as Olive Penderghast
3. Over the supermarket tannoy today whilst hearing a worker yell at a guy who was rudely talking on his phone while being served at the checkout
Maybe one day I'll hear it properly. Until then, it's in my head.
