My Red Tour Experience
Okay, so my concert was on April 11th so this is kind of late but I never got around to do it. So yeah.
Well, I had seats but they were not very good and when I saw that the TC users could enter into the contest to win pit passes, I entered. But I almost NEVER win these types of contests so I did not expect to win. But anyways, one night I was sitting on my couch watching The Voice and I decided to check my email. When I saw the one from Taylor Connect that said I won them, I literally had a fangirl attack. No joke. I was screaming and jumping up and down so much that my mom thought I had one a million dollars or something. Haha. So I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited and I went straight to the computer and ordered the tickets. So, since I ordered 2 of them, I went with one of my friends named Kate.
We made t-shirts and posters only to find out when we got there that we couldn't bring them into the pit. Oh well. So we got there at like 5:30 and picked up our tickets and waited in line for like an hour. They finally opened the door and we got our tour shirts, which by the way are like my favorite shirts ever. I ended up getting the black one with the orange detailing and the baseball-type shirt (the one that says 'Red' on the front and 'Taylor Swift' and '13' on the back. I wasn't really sure what type of shirt to call it). Then I gave them to my mom and went down into the pit. And right when you walk through the tunnel and get on the floor there is a completely different feeling that you get. I'm not really sure what to call it but its just such a magical and whimsical feeling.
Okay guys, so you guys probably don't know this but I LOVEEEE Brett Eldredge so much. I had never even heard of him before we got there but oh. my. gosh. He is so good. But during the performance when he was singing 'Don't Ya' HE TOUCHED MY HAND!!! Omg, you guys don't know how exciting that was.My favorite song that he sang there was 'Bring You Back'. I love that song.
And I absolutely adore Ed Sheeran. Like, he is just so amazing. I mean, his voice is like an angel's or something. Haha, but he was soooooooooooooooooo amazing. My favorite song he did was 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You'.
So there was about 30 minutes between when Ed went and when Taylor went and to be honest, those were some of the longest 30 minutes of my life. But during that time, the camera crew were getting ready for Taylor to perform and we asked him when Tay was coming on and he said that she comes on at 8:30. He also said, and I quote him, "Its a great show. She puts on the best performances, you guys will love it." He was extremely nice.
So when Taylor came on, every one started screaming. It was so exhilarating and idk why. But the red curtain as it fell and Taylor was there, I just couldn't. She looked so flawless. And then the person who got her hat had floor seats (not in the pit) and it was a little girl. She was so cute. Oh, and then the drums. THE DRUMS. It was cool. (I have a lot to say so its probably gonna be just a bunch of random things not in any particular order.) Amos pointed to different fans during one of the performances and sang to them and guess who one of the fans were. Yep, MEEEE!!! And then two of the back up singers smiled at me like 3 times each. They are so sweet. (It was the two with the long hair. My faves.) And then the best part of the whole night was when Tay smiled at me. I mean, TAYLOR FREAKING SWIFT SMILED AT ME!!! I'm sorry I cant write much more for her because I got to go. But my favorite performance by her was definitely 'All Too Well' or 'The Lucky One'.
And then for the next probably 3 days or so, I suffered from PCD (Post Concert Depression in case you didn't know.)
But yeah, I have to go now so yeah. And if you actually read this whole thing, thank you. You could have spent this time doing way better things. I love you like I love sparkles and having the last word, and that's real love.
Love, love, love,
PS. Always remember to sm:)e. Hehe.
