My name is Rebecca. My birthday is 19th October 1995, which means that I am currently 18 years old. I live in England, which is a great place to live - I'll always travel but I don't think I'll ever move out of England. Not only do we have London (also known as Fundon), but we also have pretty countryside, pubs, tea, scones, Jessie J, WHSmith and weird weather which we love to complain about, just to name a few things. Oh, and Doctor Who comes from the UK, of course.
So, yeah, I love where I live. But I also love to travel. So far I've been to France, Scotland, Wales and the Isle of Man. I really want to go to Ireland at some point and I want to visit other countries in Europe, like Italy and so on. And if I ever get over my dislike of aeroplanes then I'd like to travel further to the US and other places.
Something else I love, other than the things I've already written about, is singing. My dream career would be as a singer-songwriter, like Taylor. It would be amazing to do that, really unbelievable. By the way, if you want to see what my singing is like then please do check out my YouTube channel, which is in the links to the left.
But, to be honest, I'm not that certain yet as to what I actually will be in the future. I know that in my wildest dreams I'd be a singer, but I could be a writer, I could write books or be a journalist, I could be an illustrator, I don't know. What I do know is that I'm an A Level student. After my A Levels I will probably be going to university, doing some kind of English degree.
I also know that my family has two guinea pigs. They're called Ginger and Baby. They are adorable, I love them a lot. We've had other guinea pigs in the past and we've also had hamsters and chickens too. We still have chickens and they're quite funny little ladies.
As well as singing, fangirling over Doctor Who, laughing at my guinea pigs and chickens and other random stuff I also have other hobbies. These include horse riding and teaching myself to play guitar. I also love to spend time with my wonderful friends and amazing family, dance around my room when no one's looking (I'm a bit like Taylor when it comes to dancing) and to watch movies (I have so many favourites that it's almost impossible to list, but you should know that I adore Rise of the Guardians).
BEING A SWIFTY
Becoming a Swifty was a gradual thing for me, it wasn't a sudden thing - I can't pin it down to a certain date. Although I do think 2011 was around the time I became a Swifty. I think it was mainly down to Taylor's YouTube videos that I first became a Swifty. I remember watching "Asia! (my February video blog)" when I wasn't a Swifty yet but I liked the video so I started watching Taylor's other videos. When I watched "Speak Now World Tour Live CD/DVD - Available Now!" I thought it looked really good so when my granddad gave me some money to buy myself a present that Christmas I bought the Speak Now World Tour Live CD/DVD. But, of course, it was on offer, something like 2 for £10, so I bought the Fearless album as well. And it kind of escalated from there...
I've never seen Taylor live or met her and of course I really want to do both. I'm hoping when Taylor brings the Red tour to the UK I'll get the oppurtunity to go.
I love being a part of the Swifty community because Swifties are some of the most wonderful people there are. They're helpful, kind, thoughtful, ambitious and fun. They're daydreamers, designers, singers and musicians, students, writers, heroes and more. Swifties are great and I love you all.
I love Taylor for many reasons. Not only is she a record-breaker and an inspiration, but she is also beautiful, cute, amazing, fearless, magical, brilliant, talented, kind, lovely, funny, wonderful and much, much more.
And, of course, one of my favourite things about being a Swifty is Meredith.
I will always love Taylor and I hope you will too.
Lots of love,
If people are MEAN to you, then they're just another PICTURE TO BURN. You will find you're PLACE IN THIS WORLD. Always STAY BEAUTIFUL. If that guy is regretting what he did then he SHOULD'VE SAID NO. Always be FEARLESS. Remember you don't know everything at FIFTEEN. Live your life like it's a LOVE STORY. Don't be afraid to tell him "YOU BELONG WITH ME". Make each day THE BEST DAY. Embrace CHANGE. SPEAK NOW. Listen to Taylor Swift when you feel INNOCENT, HAUNTED or ENCHANTED. Let him know when SPARKS FLY. If this is just exhausting, you know? Then tell him "WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER, like ever". Forever keep RONAN in your heart. If you think that all love ever does is break and burn and end then remember that maybe, one Wednesday, in a cafe, you could watch it BEGIN AGAIN.
And LONG LIVE Taylor Swift.
Thank you to TanyaxOh for the "Rebecca's Songbook" graphic I have used on my profile, signature and songbook forum.
She loves to dance But never really got her chance Though as she walks Her hair moves like silk made of dancing flames And she's doing well Yeah, everything's going fine But sometimes she finds her mind drifting Because he's not there She walks down a street in New York And he walks down a street in London They miss each other and they say that much They love each...
