UPDATE: After a LONG string of issues and delays (from my account going kaboom to the holiday season creeping up on us and taking its weeks long hold) the project has kinda been on a delay for the past few weeks. Ok, for the past LOT of weeks. But now that all of that is in the past, it's time to finish this. Over the next few days (after I give out the final 9 words remaining, according to the randomizer), I'll be sending messages to all the participants with a deadline as to when the pictures are due in by. All that info will also be put here. It's time for the endgame, people!

Hi everyone! I’m glad you decided to at the very least check out this little project I’ve got in mind. Before I get into the explanation, a little background is in order.
A couple of years back, my brother (who you can see in my profile picture, he’s on the left) worked on a project for the Broadway musical “Title of Show”. Deciding to have a little fun, the five creators (and performers) of the show reached out to their fan base and set up a project in which each person was assigned a single word from one of the big songs of the show “9 People’s Favorite Thing”. Each person was to take a picture of themselves with their word in some creative fashion; whether it was that the sign with the word on it was creative, the setting was interesting, etc. The result was beyond incredible: famous performers such as Jimmy Kimmel and Neil Patrick Harris joined on to be part of this project, and the video remains on Youtube to this day.
Now, a few years later, comes along a crazy Italian-Cuban onto a website called “Taylor Connect”. At the end of my second blog, the follow up to the first story that started all of this, I said that it would be something incredible to give the light that was given to you back to the giver (I’m paraphrasing, bare with me here) be it your parents, a friend, or even Taylor. When I began to think of this project a few weeks ago, a small, not-quite-so-original project to celebrate the release of the Red album and (yes I’ll say it) the start of the Red era, I thought, “maybe this small gesture could be one of those ways”. After all, if Taylor taught me anything sitting across from me in that restaurant nearly 3 years ago, it’s that sometimes we don’t need the big gestures. All it can take is something small. Sometimes, all it needs is a single word. So how about a lot of single words from a lot of us?
To that end, I’d like to take the concept of the Title of Show project (and, yes, the one done for a Selena Gomez song as well) and do it using the title track of the album, Red. Rather, I’d like US to do that. So here is how this is going to work. Over the next few days, I will send you a personal message asking you what you’d like your parameters to be. What does that mean? Well, suppose you want to have a word, but you also have a friend who wants one too and doesn't want to share a picture with you. Let me know, and I’ll see if I can assign you BOTH a word.

Once you tell me all of those things you’ll no doubt think of, I’ll message you back your randomly selected word, where it fits in the song (so that maybe it’ll help with what you want to do with your picture) and an email address where you can mail your word to. Then, you FINALLY get to do your part. Remember to be creative, and of course, to have fun! Once all of the pictures are in and all of the words are assembled, you’ll be part of the Official Unofficial Red Lyric Video! So, get your creative caps on, and have some fun!
