Taylor Swift

Hey I'm Katrina! :) I'll tell you a little about me:

You could say I'm a girl of many words. I write songs and play the guitar. I have this thing with vintage...I like it. It's really classy. I adore Taylor but I like other artists too. Currently, I'm a huge fan of The Band Perry & Kellie Pickler. I'm the kind of person that sings to my dog. I'm the kind of person that fangirls over it snowing for the first time. I'm the kind of person that loves Country music. Even though I grew up listening to Elton John, I have absolutely always lived for Country music. Before Taylor, I would listen to Carrie Underwood constantly. And when I'm a junior in high school (2 years from now), I'm going to Nashville, Tennessee! I've wanted to go there for so long! I always liked the idea that you could make poems into songs. I will never forget my first poem that I turned into a song about Christmas. I was born in December, so that's probably why I liked that holiday so much. That's how my songwriting evolved.

However, if it wasn't for Taylor Swift, I wouldn't be motivated to make more songs, make them more lively, and detailed. I wouldn't be able to tell a story with a melody.



Now I just write what's on my mind. I'm not trying to copy what Taylor is doing because every artist does that ; she just uses names! ;) If there's a cute story I come across, there's a song. If I'm lonely, Hey! ,there's a song. All better!



Someday I'd love to have the opportunity to inspire girls that you make your dreams happen, you do something about it.

I find Taylor really fascinating. Like, every word that comes out of her mouth is inspirational. Unlike, any other celebrity or even person, she is so humble. She's kind of like that big sister you never had, you know? And i think, that's the true reason why we all want to meet her, because we can't believe that she's that down-to-earth. Which, she is, completely. Taylor speaks the truth with music. When I think of Taylor, I think of a garden. And I don't know why,I guess it's cause she's so positive & bright. She's talented and she deserves everything! I also give credit to her parents because they believed in her throughout her whole journey! I love the fact that she is so dedicated to her fans. I even noticed that she doesn't follow her fans on twitter because it wouldn't be fair to the rest. Dedication. I would be honored to meet Taylor and not because " Oh, look, she's famous", It's because she's simply just like all of us and she understands! She is truly inspirational & there is no other word that could mean more.
