T-Party June 2, 2012
At this time, the T-Party wasn't as huge as it is now. Not that many people knew about it, so I had to do a lot of digging on Taylor Connect and Google to find out information about the T-Party. I'm also just writing this up now, so it's probably not going to be that long/I'm going to forget a lot!
I went with my two sisters, my best friend, and my mom. We had really simple homemade shirts that just said "Fearless" on them. But our posters were so cool - there were four of them. They were reversible, and spelled out "FEARLESS" on one side and "T-PARTY" with a heart at the end on the other. We got to our seats and basically, from the moment we got there and in between all of the opening acts, we were standing and holding up our posters. We practiced our flipping so we were all timed the same too, haha. Eventually we saw Andrea come out! She was looking around the arena with another lady from Taylor's team, and my sister saw them point to us and smile. :) The concert was amazing, but we didn't get invited until the end! I honestly didn't think we were going to get invited since it had been so long - but during You're Not Sorry, I was looking down at my camera. I was second in from the aisle, and saw someone wearing all black and holding a manilla envelope stop at our row. I looked up, recognized Lauren (she was part of Taylor's team and was talking to Andrea at the beginning), and started SCREAMING. She said something like, "Hey! We saw you guys dancing - I'm guessing you know what the T-Party is?" And she gave us all our wristbands and I hugged her and we were all freaking out. I started shaking so badly that I had to sit down haha! After the concert, we met in one of the sections, were told all of the rules, and then got lead back!
We ended up sitting on the couch that's in the middle next to the photo pole. We got pizza and drinks and were just hanging out. Before I knew it, Lauren was telling us it was time to chant for Taylor to come in! And then she jumped in from behind the curtain and it was so amazing. I had never been that close to Taylor before. When she came to our group, we were standing in a line holding our signs. We flipped them over and Taylor says, "Awww, they're so sparkly! I love them!" She came over and hugged each of us, and I remember my mom saying something like, "HI this is my daughter Rebecca, she worked so hard on making all of these posters for you!!" And Taylor smelled SO good and I wanted to tell her that but I thought it would be creepy haha. She told us that she could see our signs from the stage, which was awesome! We took our picture, got another round of hugs, and then I told her hi from a few of my friends who tried to get T-Party the night before but didn't make it. Then she had to go. :( It honestly happened so quick and is such a blur, especially two years later, but I will never forget it. :)
