    I love that its a little different sound to the rest of the speak now album and im sure the message behind it is something all taylor fans can relate in some way! Cant wait to hear it live on tour in about 4 weeks! :)

    mean is a song that i didn't like it at first but after analysing the lyrics (my hobby since i became a swiftie) i found that song's theme was the "theme" of my life so far...i changed my mind of course and mean made me believe that after a rejection you found out that you are more stronger and more clever than the one who turned you down!

    I think everyone has a way of relating to Mean, whether it be someone hating on you because they don't think you are good enough to achieve your dreams, a guy, or bullying issues. I'm probably one of the few people who relate to this song in the original context about the critic, expect if was dancing and not singing.
