Dear John and Superman about the same guy?

I'm not sure if someone has already brought topic this up, but I thought I would. Okay, so we all know that Dear John is about John Mayer, but I think that Superman is about him as well.

The message hidden in the lyrics for Dear John is "loved you from the very first day", a line which is repeated numerous times in Superman.

In Superman, she sings

something in his deep brown eyes has me singing/he's not all bad like his reputation/and I can't hear one single word they say
John Mayer has brown eyes, and is known to have a bad reputation.

In Dear John, she sings
And I'll look back and regret how I ignored when they said "run as fast as you can"
, which I interpret as her saying that she regrets ignoring what people said about him.

I think that in Superman, she's saying how she loves him and doesn't care what people think, but in Dear John, she realizes that they were right.

What do the other Swifties think?

    I'm pretty sure they're both about him too. Dear John is obvious, and with Superman, if you think about carefully, it makes sense.

    I think you're really intelligent.

    I noticed the "LOVEDYOUFROMTHEVERYFIRSTDAY" as the secret code in "Dear John" and I did notice it was a line from "Superman", but I never had the idea since Dear John and Superman was a diffrent kind of a song. You know, Dear John is a sad song and Superman isn't that sad?

    Well if Superman is really about John Meyer, that's cool and something new to me :)

    I never analysed it in that much detail - but I kind of assumed that it was about him because he was the one music star that Taylor seemed to have a crush on.

    The other ones she looked up to all seemed to be more about how much she respected their work and good they were.

    (and that's the problem with having a crush on a bit of a 'bad lad')
