If I'm completely honest, before I heard or read the lyrics for "The Lucky One" I had a strange feeling it would be about Zac Efron, because of the brief rumour of a romance between them, because of his film of the same name... Could I have been more wrong?

"All too well" is about Jake Gyllenhaal when they dated they went to coffee shops and Jake likes lattes with real maple syrups hence "Maple Lattes" :)

SAG could be Swift and Gyllenhaal, SAG for Sagittarius, or SAG for the SAG awards!

"When you think Taylor Swift i hope you think of me"

I did some research on The Lucky One. I think it may be about Elizabeth Taylor. First how the song parallels her life:

-Erupted into fame in the 60's (You look like a 60's queen)
-Famous actress (Angel's city, aka Los Angeles)
-Numerous romances outside of many marriages (and your lover in the foyer doesn't even know you)
-Huge scandal in the 60's with Eddie Fisher (and your secrets end up splashed on the news front page)
-Studios demanded she change her appearance to fit in (cause you don't feel pretty, you just feel used)

Now, outside of direct lyric evidence, Taylor revealed in interviews she was extremely fascinated with reading books about women in the 60's, and there are over 50 books about Liz, which makes it highly probable she read about her. This is strengthened by the fact that Taylor's primary interest is love, which probably made Taylor gravitate to Liz's life.

Now the message "Wouldn't You Like to Know," suggests a playful but defensive stance people often use when they don't want to reveal too much about themselves. So with that in mind, at the end of the song, you hear Taylor parallel to her life. She understands what Liz went through, and why Liz did the things she did. The song is ultimately about Taylor, but her realizations about life and where she wants to be heading can be correlated to Elizabeth Taylor's life.

This is all speculation, but any comments?

I feel like a scientist when I try and decode Taylor's codes :P

To be fair, for State of Grace, Conor is a Leo (a fire sign) and has blue eyes. The only giveaway is the actual message (love doesn't count after goodbye).

Many are also saying SAG is Screen Actor's Guild. Which makes a lot of sense. However, SAG could also be the initials of someone that didn't hit the spotlight. Seeing as it "ended so suddenly," we may never have even heard of the person.
