So who remembers this project?
I know its awhile untill the next tour but I was discussing it on another thread and I thought now would be a good time to tell all the newbies who weren't part of the old TC about it.
This is not my idea, I cant remember who started it on the old TC, someone in the UK I think. Aparantly it ws Luckyyou13, so credit to her for the idea :)

The idea is that all the TC swifties would put a purple ribbon around their wrist like a bracelet and put their username on it somehow. I embroidered mine on, some people wrote it with fabric pens, its entirely up to you. Just make sure you wear it around your wrist so that everyone knows where to look for it. If you put it on your bag or your hair they might miss it.
Also, to put 'TC' on your left hand, like Taylor puts the 13 on her right hand, you can still have the 13 on your right hand too, thats what il be doing.
This way, at the shows, you can see whos from TC and whos not, and maybe even by chance, meet someone youve been talking to on here.

(in NZ we extended it to include region ribbons too since the shows were only in one place and alot of us travelled really far, I have 2 homes so I made 2 ribbons cause I couldnt decide)


Who would be keen to resurrect this for the next tour?

For those of you having issues with it not showing up:
Its most likely that you have reached your character limit for your signature, in that case just use this:



The click through link wont work, but the characters are less and so hopefully it will fit. If that still does fit then the only other option is to delete something thats already in your signature, or shorten the urls of your other pictures. If you are using tumblr to host your pictures these are often really long, uploading to tinypic results in a smaller url, and so you can fit more it

Non-concert time use:
Alot of people are suggesting we not only wear them to concerts, but everyday. I think if you want to, go for it. I think it would be cool if we could have a super secret way of identifying us as swifties, that no-one else knew about. I think in this case though, wed want to make something more durable than a ribbon. Im thinking maybe replicate the leather bracelets but put our usernames instead of 'fearless' or 'speak now'. Not 100% fully formed on how, but il keep you posted. Anyway, this parts still under discussion. I just wanted to put that up here so its not forgotten and lost in the depths of this thread :)

Changing the colour:
The colour purple was selected because its Taylors purple colour, It also happened to be the colour of the speak now album. Currently we are trying to decide whether to keep the ribbons purple or to change them to match the colour of the next album. So be sure to add your thoughts on that! :)

Im officially changing the name of this to the purple wristband project, i totally think the idea of a glow in the dark wristband is sooo cool, but it would cost more than a ribbon so if people want to do ribbons then thats fine too. Quoting post:
