:) Cute thread! I have been rising ever since I was tiny. I lived at a farm for a while and I had my own horse. Now my grandparent's own it and I go over there every chance I get to go ride our horse.

I LOVE Horses My Whole Family Do I Would LOVE To Own And Ride A Horse. When My Mom And Dad Were Kids They Would Go To The Farm In Their Home Town (Way before mom and dad knew each other) And See Horses.

Hi, I'm Christina and I live in Australia.
Ok so I've been riding horses by myself since I was about 2-3 years old, before that my parents would sit me on them and lead them around. So that means I've been riding horses for 16 years!! Wow....how time flies by .
I live on a farm so I've always had the opportunity to ride horses. We own about 10 horses that we use for cattle work. My horse is called Slim and he is a 16hh bay gelding thoroughbred. He is my life. I've had quite a few horses in my lifetime and Slim is my current one. The other horses are Australian stock horses and Quarter horses.
I went to my local Pony Club for about 10 years before school commitments took over and I had no time to attend. I'm in my last year of high school this year so it's going to be pretty busy. My favourite event would have to be the Sporting events like Barrel racing and pole bending. I always won so many ribbons on those events. They were just so much fun and you could go as fast as you wanted. I also enjoyed Jumping and occasionally Campdrafting.

We have a 3000 acre property with about 500 cattle. So we need horses which is the reason I've been so lucky to have a horse all my life

I've been riding horses for 12 or 13 years and I got my first own horse when I was 8 (I'll be turning 18 in april). Now I have a horse named Oh, my Precious :)

If I ever do get the chance to own a horse, I will most likely keep it at my current riding school. It's about a 40 minute drive from my house, but it is absolutely lovely there!

I ride horse. Well I used to ride, but it got really expensive.
I've been riding for a very long time. (I cant remember ecactly how long)
I dont own a horse, but i leased two in January/February for Christmas.
My favorite riding event is probably show jumping. I also like Cross-Country and Dressage. Lipizzaner tricks are pretty cool too.
I have loved horse my entire life. They are my favorite animal, close to Cats. They're so beautiful and majestic and they're full of life. They really are wonderful creatures.

Aw I just saw this thread and it made me smile because I just went riding yesterday, and I hadn't been for a while :)
I used to ride all the time when I was younger, I had a few horses when I was younger and I did Pony Club with one of them and gaming with the other, but I sold them after High School and now I only go riding once in a while but I really do miss it. There's few feelings in the world that can match the freedom of the wind in your hair when your horse is in a full-on gallop in an open field
