I'm just posting on here to remind myself to actually enter this time!

You said that if there was a story behind it, to tell it. Basically I met this guy, and we both fell in love with each other. We left who we were dating at the time to be together. We talked all the time, 24/7 and it was perfect. And it eventually just fell apart. And to this day, I don't know why. We talked about it the other night and he said he took me for granted and that's why he neglects me now. Hardly says hi to me anymore (long distance so when I mean say hi I mean send a text/fb message). Yeah. Sucks. Okay here you go.


This is a song I wrote called Gone Away

For what it's worth this love was real and it was bold

My entry for Round 4. So the story behind this song: I started out with this one idea, nightmare eyes. What could that possibly mean? So I just wrote a song about a nightmare...seeing the boy you love but can never be with. I can't fall asleep without dreaming about him and even though they're amazing dreams, they're nightmares because when I wake up, it's all gone.

Title: "Nightmare Eyes"

V1:
I've been up since two AM.
I'm trying not to fall asleep again.
Rings of fire cloud my vision
And unwanted desired says I miss him.

Pre-Chorus:
Moonlight says everything
And somehow, it's all I see.

I search for miles
And countless times,
