Hey! Don't worry! What are the injections for? I had to have a set of three with school before and I heard all of these rumours, but none of them were true! Also, the liquid going down your arm thing is in your imagination. Try and remember all the lyrics to your favourite taylor song whilst its happening, just stay calm:)

Thanks! The injections are for cervical cancer. loads of people die from it so it's worth getting but :(

Yeah, they are the injections I have had! Seriously, don't worry, the second one is definitely not more painful, if anything I found it less painful! Its not really meant to hurt that much, if you think its hurting then you are probably scared so you tense your arm muscles. Keep your arm relaxed, stay happy and you'll barely notice it:)

I don't know because when i had mine i didn't think it was any pain at all. In fact my second one was the least painful, i didn't feel anything. Don't think about it, pretend your not there. Force yourself to pretend your not there, DO NOT tense. If you tense it's gonna hurt more, relax, pretend your watching tv.


Oh and by the way, the chances are you won't faint again because you're already used to it. My friend fainted the first time then she was fine the over 2.

I had all three of them almost 3 years ago and I definitely thought that the first one hurt the most.

The reason you fainted was because you were so worried you make yourself ill. Just try and stay calm. Don't look at the needle as it goes in. Ask if you can listen to your iPod to calm yourself during the injection. It's normal to be scared, but try not to be.

Try and get into a conversation with the nurse while it's being done. They'll probably follow your lead and help to distract you from what's going on. Prevention is so much better than cure, you might feel faint but you could be saving yourself from a much worse predicament! Good luck :)

Um, last time I had to get a really painful shot, I sang Taylor and Zac's duet from Ellen (the "Every single time I come on this show it's really weird" one) and then apparently I had already gotten the shot and I hadn't felt it. Helps every time with blood draws too. Try that :)
