Songwriting Contest!
Hi everyone!!! I absolutely love reading everyone's songs, so I'm hosting a songwriting contest of my own!
Drop everything now! Here we go! Are you ready?
Rules: I only have a few of them, and they are basics anyways!
1) Only one song per round!
2) Song must fit the theme, but you can interpret the theme however you want! I love creativity!
3) No copying other people's songs, or stealing songs!! Thank you!
4) Do not use any of Taylor's lyrics in your song (unless the round gives you permission).
5) Pay attention to deadlines and the round we are in, so everyone who wants to enter can!
6) I promise I will read every song at least twice and give it careful consideration!
7) Do not enter the next round until the previous round's results are up!
8) Post the songs here, or give me a link to your songbook (just make it clear which song you are entering!)
9)Cowriting is allowed!
10) Each round will last about a week (depends on how much homework I have)
13) HAVE FUN!!

{UNDER THE MISTLETOE}
I remember their first Christmas
Eight years old and life was so bliss.
They hid in the garden while their parents were joking 'round.
He had subtly joked as well

He'd steal her first kiss and together with rings they'd be bound.
These two friends
May be something more.
She'd spent her whole life
Not knowing what to look for.
But little did she know that

Few years later he showed up to her door
With a red rose bouquet and in his eyes she saw
True compassion, love and it would seem
They were the most perfect match
And his heart was such a catch

Thank you for telling me about this :) it is a terribly written song, but the only one that could fit the theme. This is great!!! But just a question, which song did you enter? There are two copies of One Hundred and Thirty and I'm not sure which one you meant, since they are slightly different
