    So sorry! :( I think that your bank may be able to help. They figure into their business expense a certain amount of money to cover illegitimate charges, which I would think would include charges made to your account by a scammer. Good luck!

    My brother and I do major purchasing on e-bay did you use pay-pal? If you did contact them and they will set things right. How did you get scammed? Did they take your money and not send you what you bought or was it not what you bought?

    In the UK all credit card purchases over £100 are protected and if something is a scam, we recieve the money back by getting in touch with the credit card provider and filling in a claim. I don't know if the US is the same but if it is, you were very smart to pay by credit card.

    So that might be something to look into, best of luck getting your money back.
