Guitar help?!

Thu, Jul 12, 2012 at 5:47 AM

So, I'm trying to tune my guitar, but its really messed up. I use an electronic tuner, but only the B string refuses to go to B. Every time I tune up it goes to D and when down it goes to A. I'm awful at musical theory, so I'm not sure which way to go to get it back to B. I'm scared to 'experiment' with both way in case I break it lol. What way should I tune it / how to I get it back to B from A or from D?

Thanks for help :)

What kind of tuner is it? Is it one in the actual guitar like my electric accoustic or is one that's on a guitar tuner? If it's just a tuner make sure the mode's at guitar and not capo.

You won't break the guitar tuning it. :) and B isn't even near A or D. Keep tuning up from both letters until you get a B.

    Hope I helped!
