He's officially mine this Saturday when my aunt picks him up from an ex aunt's (her Mom has him but is terminally sick & can't keep him) & drops him off at my apartment! He's coming with all supplies and his toys. I already have his vet records since they were sent ahead of time. I'm just paying the pet deposit little by little and I'll need to take him in for booster shots. I'm home alone most of the time & hardly travel anymore. Plus I'm still in the start-up phase to make web sites & graphic stuff from my place, now with kitty play break on the schedule.



I cleaned today and I'll have to deal with all the cords & wires asap (been warned he likes them) once I get the wraps - also coming with him. I can hardly wait for Saturday!

Thanks! It's crazy how his birthday is 4 days before mine! He'll be 2 this coming Oct 12th, and I'll turn 30 4 days later. I have this amazing huge window in my living room with a wide sill that looks out over trees & stuff so he'll like that. I'll take pics asap and maybe I'll set up a web site just to share the pics, videos & stories since I'm a start-up home based designer. I know he has lots of toys but I bought a new feather dangler for both of us, sort of a welcome to my apartment gift.

I also learned my next door neighbor on the right also has a black cat, and the neighbor right across the hall also has a cat. Some of the neighbors have small dogs that are cute, but I'm not a fan of waking up early & going out in all weather. I have Dusty's feeding schedule on my fridge so I'll know to give him breakfast when I get up. The vet is on the other side of town but only 5 minutes away by car (which I don't have). I'm hoping the bus will let him ride if he's in his carrier.
