    I agree! I could always use tips and help. I'm currently learning the chords to A Place in This World and it's slowly coming along. I think my main issue is not moving my fingers to change the chord fast enough.

    I don't have a capo yet but I saw something on TC a few days ago about a cool way to make one using a pencil and rubber bands.

    I just bought a capo a month ago and I use it SO much! A lot of Taylor's songs use it. I had a guitar competion today! I got a 1st place and a 2nd. i've only been playing for 5 months, so I was really happy! My teacher wants me to buy an electric guitar. Any good brands I should look at?

    Defintally consider getting a 'Taylor' guitar. Taylor uses them! :) I have one also and they sound AHHMAZINGG and the longer you have them apperently, the better they sound! :)

    Definately Taylor songs, although the vocals in some are quite challenging. Try disney songs. They're easy to play and fun!

    I've considred those, but I don't think they make electric. Do they? I know Taylor uses a Gibson during the Speak Now tour. Currently, I have a Fender acoustic and I hear their electrics are good too. I do want a nice Taylor to play on! They look so elegant when Taylor uses them!

    I only just started guitar and I was able to teach myself "Speak Now" thanks to this tutorial video: youtube.com/watch?v=Pc8toR_HvLE

    Practice everyday, and if you plan to play a lot of Taylor's songs then I agree you should get a capo; it makes everything so much easier! A good brand of capo is Kyser, which is the kind Taylor herself uses! You can get them at your local Guitar Center for around 15-20 dollars :)

    I have a Kyser! It's this pretty shimy blue color but mine was 28 dollars I think, a bit more than I was hoping but I use it so much, it's worth it.

    ultimate-guitar.com :) They have almost every imaginable song. The one I learned from was the first chords one with 5 stars. And I slapped a capo on the 6th fret.
