    It's not a USDJ promo. It might be a UK promo, hard to tell. I'm always quite sus on them to be honest.

    edit: notice how they conveniently do not put a photo of the CD itself up on the auction ;-) I reckon it's a home print/ burn job myself...

    It's difficult to tell, there are quite a few eBayers who made quite a good business from selling homemade "rare" CDs and a lot of fans genuinely believe they are real. I'm leaning towards believing that this one is genuine as the seller appears to have a wide variety of promo CDs for songs in the UK charts currently - not just big names that are likely to draw bidders. I suggest always treading carefully on eBay though.

    Notice how on the picture of the back it says "this is for promotional use only-not for sale"? That's probably not a good sign. The seller got it for free and now they're trying to make a buck-illegally.

    That's not technically illegal, depending on the country. In the US, one can resell an item (it's in the US constitution). In the UK, it may be different.

    I still think it's probably a fake.

    USDJ promos are sent to US country radio stations when a song impacts (i.e. is released to US country radio). Only songs released to US country radio will have a USDJ promo - non country releases (example, The Story of Us) do not have a USDJ promo. They may have an alternative promo that gets set to the rock/pop radio station etc, but it is not a USDJ promo.

    USDJ promos typically feature the single, and have it repeat 3 times. The 3 songs may be identical, or they could be slightly different versions of the same song (i.e. radio edit, single edit, etc).

    You do now :-) USDJ promos are typically the rarest of Taylor's CDs and the most expensive - some CDs are like thousands of dollars...

    This cd is legit!! Its from uk only for radiostations, calles cd-r adacate promo cd.

    Honestly don't buy it.

    It may well look legit from the description but it's not hard to fake these ones. The only UK promo CDs that can definitely be classed as legit are teardrops on my guitar and you belong with me because they are in card wallets. These plastic ones with the front inserts can be made by absolutely anyone if they wanted to.

    Also, the only UK singles from that album are WANEGBT and I know you were trouble. Begin Again, Red and State of Grace didn't get UK airplay

    homemade job. i own hundreds of promo cds and up till now was reluctant to impart my 30 plus years of buying music aquired knowledge on yous but here goes. the covers a photocopy. yeah enough said.
