There are other ways to meet Taylor other than T-Party. 99% of the time, local radio stations have M&G's you can win and you don't have to be really outgoing for that. Our you can stalk (not in the creepy way, just go places you think she'll go). I mean, you have to try in some way. You can't just stand still at her concerts and expect someone to notice you. That's why you have to go about it in other ways :)

Don't give up! I understand you completely as I had selective mutism until I was 13! I understand how you want to go crazy but you literally can't make yourself because it used to be my life too. But don't give up or stop entering contests and what not because I never thought I had a chance to meet her and I lucked out! And I'm usually really shy when I meet someone for the first time, but I was so comfortable talking to Taylor! She has a way of making everyone feel special. I think she loves meeting all fans, outgoing or not. You can message me if you ever need someone to talk to :))

I remember this post from the old TC and FWIW, I agree with you completely.

If I ever have the chance to meet Taylor, and I am able to get past being too starstruck to say more than "hi", I will try to remember to ask her to make some statement in some interview somewhere about shy fans. I'm sure she would address it if she knew that even one fan was hurt by it.

This is really not much of a promise, since the odds of my meeting Taylor are probably lower than yours, FD, but this is something I will try to do if by some miracle I do get the opportunity, because I agree with you that this is an issue.

I agree with this, I never will meet her because I am too shy. I wish there was another way to meet her. I was quite surprised I sang along quietly a little bit at the concert, I would usually never do that. :(

For some reason my post didnt post all the way.. but There are people Taylors people pick, for just singing and having fun! Dont lose faith!
