I was on vacation in Maine, USA shopping with my family. I knew Taylor had been there shooting the Mine video, and had tried to go but I couldn't because I was seeing her in PEI around that time (which was amazing). I heard she was supposed to be there the friday, but my parents had planed to leave the day before. Anyways, so my parents had promised me to take me to visit the places that Taylor had shot the music video for Mine, and since they didn't have time from all the shopping (my parents are shopaholics hahah) they decided to stay an extra day to bring me while they went shopping somewhere really close. The main plan was, I begged my parents to dropped me of to Kennebunkport all day and I would visit everything. I had NO idea the city was so big. So the day came, and my parents were bringing me to the town. We drove arround time and my mom asked to stop at a beach and my dad missed the stop so we had to turn around. We continued and found the nearest driveway and turned around. Coming back, I look at a private beach a distant away and I see this girl, really tall and skinny with a hat on her hair. I started having a panic attack and my parents stopped the car. I jumped out of the car and went to see. As I walked closer, it was actually sinking in that that was my idol. I started bawling my eyes out and tried to go see her, but her bodyguards stopped to ask me questions. I couldn't even speak. I was speaking to one of her crew member, asking me if I was okay, while I looked at Taylor and saw her waving. It took me FOREVER to realise she was waving at ME. My hero, my inspiration, everything. I was litteraly wonderstruck hahah. And she was like ''hey girl'' and I was just like ''I LOVE YOU SO MUCH'' which seems like the last thing to say now, but at the time I was so speechless. We talked a bit and she invited me to the Mine premiere. Cmt crew gave me VIP which is insane. That day, I still cannot believe happened.
The weird thing is, it was the first year in all my life my cousin and uncle/aunts hadn't came with us. And if they did, there would be no way we would have went. Also, we decided to go super last min since no one else were going. It's crazy how everything worked out. Like we took random streets, and the fact it ended up to her. Crazy, but it was the best day of my life. I wouldn't take it back for anything.
