    The earthquake in Italy was much more richters than usual that means it was much more disastrous and in the news were reported many deaths and even more hurt people
    Lots of historical buildings were destroyed in general it was really serious

    Well it's happened in Emilia so it's not all the North of Italy fortunately ;) just that country.
    They're really hardly tring to re start , but it will take a lot of time to return to a normally life with their own houses. :(

    you're right. We're not used to it like in california or japan. There in Emilia where its happened, the last most powerful shake has been in 16 century more or less. Lot of churches (many from 11century ) and beautiful monuments have been distroit.
    And people are really really shattered.

    My friends mum was born in Italy and promised us she'd take us in a few years :D

    Yes, I'm ok thank you :)
    I was not in my city (Milan) on the day of the earthquake so I didn't feel it...we didn't have any damage fortunately cause we are far enough from the epicenter. I'm a little bit worried though, cause there are tremors every day even if they are weaker than the 2 big earthquakes of some days ago and I can't feel them in Milan...let's hope the earthquake is gonna leave us in peace soon cause we had enough :/

    I hope you'll come to visit our country very soon...it's worth it ;)
    And I'd love to visit California one day!! If you want I can teach you some Italian words :)

    She asked cause there were two big earthquakes like we are not used to have in that Italian region...on the 20th 7 people died, many others were injured, many historical buildings, houses and factories collapsed. Then people were trying to restart as Dafhne said, but on the 29th there was another big earthquake: this time 17 people died, most of them while they were working in the factories that collapsed. Many other buildings were razed to the ground. 15.000 people are sleeping in tents or in their cars cause they don't have a house anymore and cause there are earthquakes every day and it's not safe to come back home. It's a disaster :(
