    Haha you mean "G'day mate"?

    Well I think we say "G'day" a lot and we call everyone our 'mate' but not a lot of us actually say the two together as one sentence. depends, I live in the country area, and people say "G'day mate" here quite a bit but from experience, the people in the city don't really say it as much.

    I love your accents! Here are my stereotypes:
    1. Koalas seem to be everywhere
    2. Deserts are everywhere
    3. Sydney is the only big city(we never hear about any other cities in the US)
    4. You go to NZ a lot.
    5. Kangaroos
    6. The Outback is what you are referred to here quite often I find.

    Ahaha :)
    - Koalas are actually pretty rare, especially where I live.
    - We do have a few deserts but only one really big one that I know of.
    - Yes Sydney is a big city but there is also Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra (the capitol city). No one really notices Darwin and Hobart though, coz they're so small!
    - Sort of... ahaha
    - If you came here, you'd be suprised that we aren't one big "Outback" ahaha :)

    My mom stayed in Austrailia for a month and she said that she said that people from New Zealand get really offended when they are mistakens for Australians! Is that true, visa versa?

    Ooooh! This is cool, my mum used to live in Manly (I think that's how you spell it) near Sydney, and people often ask if I'm Australian (I'm British)... I love everything about Australia except the spiders XD

    1. There are kangaroos and spiders everywhere
    2. It never ever gets cold
    3. Every part of the coast is surrounded by sharks
    4. Everyone likes surfing
    5.There's a lot of blonde people and you get a tan really easily.
    6. My nan (who used to live in Australia, with my mum) says there's a lot of cockroaches outside in summer..
    7. You eat Christmas lunch on the beach! :D

    Most of those probably aren't true. XD
