Hi everyone! Here is a basic tutorial for PicMonkey(http://www.picmonkey.com)

PLEASE do not use this exact graphic, or anything too similar to it.

First, you want to go to Google Images and find yourself a good background.




and save it to your computer. I have a special folder for Backgrounds.



Then go to Swimchick(http://www.swimchick.net)



and find "Resources", then "Textures"




Find one you like and that will work(I used purple because I have a purple background) and save it to your computer( I have a special "Textures" folder)




Then go to TaylorPictures(http://www.taylorpictures.net)



Go to Photoshoots, then Professional Photoshoots. (In this tutorial, I'm using pictures form 2010)



Find one you like, and click on it. Think about the lyrics and the overall "mood" of the graphic you are making.



Save it to your computer. I have a special "Pics of Tay" folder.



Go to PicMonkey. Click "Edit a Photo"




Open your background



And resize it(I'm using 500x200, the usual TC size)



Go to Overlays. Click "Your Own"





Upload your texture. Use the corners to click and drag it until it covers the background completely.





Go to the sides, where it says "Fade" and "Blend Modes"



Play around with those until you like how it looks. For this, I used Screen and faded it 21%.



Go to "Your Own" again, and upload your first picture. Click and drag it until it's where you want it.





Go to"Blend Modes" again. Play around with those. I usually use "Darken" or Multiply"



This is how I did it and how it turned out.



Upload your other picture(If you have another) and do the same thing. I moved them around a bit too.



Got to the "Text" tab. Enter your text, pick your font, change the color if you want, and play around with the Fade and Blend Mode again.









Repeat for any additional text. Keep in mind the mood of the graphic and what the person requested. So, if your requester said "Something girly and pink, you wouldn't use a black background and a dark-er pic of her, and a dark-ish/mean-looking font.

The enter is really weird on this site. if I wanted "Like a distant" and "diamond sky" in the same box, there'd be a huge gap between them. So, I just made 2 separate ones and moved them closer together.




Add your tag(credit). I always use Quicksand Bold, size 11, colored black and faded a little. Put it in a good spot that doesn't draw attention to it.




Go to the bottom left, click "Save". Save it to your Finished Graphics Siggys folder(if you have one like me) and upload it to your preferred hosting site.




And it turns out like this: TADA
