Capital Hoedown

So I just bought tickets to the Capital Hoedown in Canada on Augus 11th!! I am super excited, but not sure what to expect because I can't imagine it is going to be too similar to the Speak Now Tour. Who else on here is planning on going? Do you think there be opportunities to meet Tay Tay?

    I'm going and I'm super excited! I think they are having a few meet and greet contest on the radio and online, but don't quote me on that. I know that me and couple other Swifties were thinking of a few projects we could do to get Taylor's attention or to meet other Swifties.     I'm going, maybe I'll see you there! There are definitely opportunities to meet Taylor because there are a couple of ongoing contests to win a meet and greet - one at www.ottawakiosk.com, and the other is happening this week only (if you buy a 3-day GA or VIP pass you are entered to win a meet and greet, which isn't great for everyone who has already bought tickets).

    It hasn't exactly been canceled but the place where they were having the concert had it's permit revoked, don't loose hope though there's always a chance they can either work it out with the current venue, or find another.

    I hate how this event has become a mess =[
    And now Taylor has pulled out. I hope they announce the line up soon. And I hope they are able to get Taylor back.

    I think they might have a chance at getting some of the artists back if they are able to pay them (hopefully?!) I think that was maybe the main problem in this mess. So HOPEFULLY they can get Taylor back if they can pay her and she hasn't booked anything new which it doesn't seem she has. So *crosses fingers* please let them have it worked out that Taylor can come!!!!

    Taylor had already been paid in full. If they had cancelled the whole festival, she would've been able to keep the money. By pulling out, she's probably had to give it all back to them.
    The main problem is that they didn't pay the city for use of the land where the festival was meant to be.
    I imagine Taylor didn't want to be involved anymore because of their shady business practices.

    I thought I'd tell you that a few of the artists that were coming to Capital Hoedown moved to the Boots and Hearts Country Music Festival encase people really wanted to see them. They also have a big lineup of some other great artist. It's in Bomanville ON.

    It was a multiday festival/concert with alot of different country artists performing and Taylor was one of the acts The promoter coudn't afford one of the permits from the city so it fell apart.

    i bought tickets too and we just cecked the website and it said that the capital hoedown was canceled so iam dissapointed
